WE HAVE TEETH!

Oh yes,

Mr. Henry has teeth number three & four showing as of this morning. They are the top front two. They are barely through, but definitely there.

He's as happy as usual, but a bit louder & chomps on us a lot more the last few days. He is currently working on perfecting the pterodactyl screech while chewing on his giraffe & bouncing in his exerciser. He is a multi tasking baby.

We are up on Blakely again. Painting away. We went home to Roslyn this last weekend & had some fun. We took the boat up to the lake on Saturday after I got off work & then joined Jess, Bree, & Brian for dinner & boating in Vantage after work on Sunday. Henry is becoming quite the little boater.

Well, I should get out to start painting the little cabin. Keep in touch everyone!!!!

As you all know...or most of you do, we are leaving for Australia in September. We will be gone for around 9 months, so we only have about a month more to spend with you all before we go. Get in touch & let us know your summer schedules. We'd love to see you all at least one more time before we head out on another adventure.

Reporting from Blakely!

Hey Ya'll,
We are up here on Blakely Island for the week painting & caulking Doug's new cabin. It's so nice to be back! It's been super foggy in the mornings, but gets nice & sunny later on in the day & into the evenings. Henry is enjoying the walks & watching the ocean move. He is still teething (working on the top ones now) so he is a bit grumpier than usual. Luckily for us, Henry's "grumpy" is a far cry from most babies. He is chewing & drooling like a maniac though.

Big news on the Henry front: We were sent a replacement giraffe from Grandma Laurie!! After trying craigslist lost & found & asking around at the "lost" location for a while with no luck she had one sent to us!! Henry was sooo excited! He saw it, grabbed it, & started chewing on the squeaker in it's hand to make noise just like he used to. He knew exactly where that squeaker was & was very happy to have it back. He plays with it every day, so thanks to Laurie!

We will post pictures soon, I have to get them downloaded to the computer. Hope everyone is having a good week.

Uh oh! We made a pit stop the other day in Issaquah & as usual Henry was playing with his giraffe the whole way in the car...apparently Mr. Giraffe fell out when we went in to Tully's to get a coffee, because 5 minutes later when we came back to the car he was no where to be found!We looked everywhere! Under the car, back in Tully's, under the other cars, in the garbage cans, everywhere! So strange! Anyway, we will get him another one online eventually, but if anyone happens to be in Tully's in Issaquah soon, ask if they have a giraffe with a red bird attached to it's hand...maybe someone returned it.

Otherwise, things are fine as usual. I (Kristen) worked at the coffee stand this weekend & it was crazy! We were soooo busy! It was really nice. Ben came down with Henry as usual to visit & get coffee & snuggles. Town was packed!! Yesterday for the 4th we went into Ellensburg at about 6:30 & had burgers over at Jessica's house & then drove into town to see the fireworks show. It was pretty good! Afterword, we droped jess & Bree back off at their house & headed home to crash into bed around midnight.

Henry was up at 7:00 this a.m. which was late for him. It was nice! mom (Lori) was up & watched him, so Ben & I got to sleep in way later than usual! Awesome!
